Hear Today: Cursive-From The Hips

The limited Cursive biography on AllMusic doesn’t give any explain of why, but this band, over a decade old and hailing from Nebraska, has written a song, “From the Hips,” which is pretty much the perfect anthem to hips. I stumbled on it last week, stumbled into some hip trouble over the weekend, so now you have to listen to it. (p.s Stumble this blog post!)The song is off their newest album, Mama, I’m Swollen.

Another reason why Cursive is a good choice for today is because later, I will be interviewing Script and Scribble: The Rise and Fall of Handwriting author Kitty Burns Florey about her newest book.

Is it coincidence? Or are Jupiter’s moons in alignment?
